1:00 pm – 5:00 pm	Sustainability Toolkit Workshop You'll learn fundamentals, basic vocabulary and some of the major trends relevant to individuals and companies. What is driving this worldwide movement? Why has it become a global movement? Why have businesses the world over adopted triple bottom line management and reporting. We review key sustainability terms, definitions, standards, certifications, trends and issues relevant to an enterprise, with particular attention to publishing and media. Why do companies believe that moving their business operations to become more sustainable can increase sales and enhance their brand? Quickly gain a perspective of today's most important issues for companies and enterprises like yours. Who is legislating sustainability mandates, how might they affect your institution and what should you be watching out for? We will guide you to available resources and review your issues and concerns. In an "attendance-limited" informal and interactive workgroup we discuss how to get management on board and begin to communicate the plan and get cross-silo buy-in. Who should attend - Sales managers, corporate communication, advertising, public relations, investor relations, public affairs, supply chain professionals and individuals in customer interfacing positions. Many sponsors and attendees have asked for this session to provide them and their supply chain partners with current information and raise the level of understanding about key issues and topics prior to attending the conference. Sustainability 101 Session 1

This is placeholder text. Our context is making sustainability work for business leaders, brand owners, communication professionals and other stakeholders along the communication value chain. Thought leaders will delve into communication supply chain analysis and triple bottom line management. We'll address risk and cost reduction, environmental restoration and explore how to protect brand equity, create trust and grow shareholder value by aligning communication supply chain practices with the principles of sustainability.
